Got an idea for my next album-parody flyer?
You might recognize that black flyer as a parody of the album cover shot for Meet the Beatles,
or, I'll note in case you were going to reply and say well actually before that it was the cover of the U.K. album With the Beatles: Before that it was the cover of the U.K. album With the Beatles.
I like my new idea* of using old album covers as the basis for show flyers, not least because it's super pretentious. I'm hoping someone shows up Saturday so they can roast me for how bad my Beatles cover tunes sound, when I rarely play covers and have never in my life played a Beatles song.
Listen, some people dream about selling out Madison Square Garden, I have my thing.
* New for me. I didn't invent it.
Anyway, if you have any ideas for famous album covers I should parody for a flyer, send them my way please. Keep in mind the only things more limited than my budget for such things are my abilities as a stylist, designer and model. The album covers don't have to be that famous. They can be "three people will get this reference" famous. More important, I have to be able to pull it off. Like, I can maybe do this, but not this.
