This was recorded live last week at Speakeasy in Carrboro. I shared the bill with Kudzu Drew and Josh Rosenstein, who also let me use his tripod and microphone, not for the
first time. Thanks, Josh.
When I tell people what I do, I often say that I use humor in my music, but I don't do novelty songs. This song kind of makes that statement a lie. Fortunately, since it's Trump related, there's no danger the national media will call it a lie.
Come on

I'll be bouncing all over the Triangle over the next little while. Here's my schedule so far but don't worry, I'll remind you as each one gets closer. And then I'll remind you again and then I'll bug you and if you show up and there's drinks there I'll buy you one.

If you can help
David Talbot, my old friend and former boss at two places, has had a devastating stroke, and a GoFundMe has been set up to help with not only his medical expenses but housing needs. David and his wife, Camille Peri, were moving out of their house and into an apartment, but that apartment won't be possible for David to live in once he's out of the
hospital.
David is the founder of Salon, the author of the crucial San Francisco history Season of the Witch, and a profound influence in the lives of several generations of journalists and other writers and creators. That includes
me.
He's also the son of character actor Lyle Talbot, and boy does he have good stories about his childhood, especially about times when Lyle's pal Ed Wood was around. Here are pix of Lyle in Wood's Plan 9 From Outer Space in 1957, and getting cozy with Carole Lombard in No More Orchids in 1932.
